You probably know the inner critical voice that tells you that you can’t possibly get this exciting new job or have the relationship that you dream of. It always says the same thing, right? “You aren’t good enough. You aren’t worthy enough. You aren’t enough.”
We all have a version of this inner critic. It wants us to believe that it’s safer to play small and stay small.
And you believe this voice.
You choose to believe it.
How serious are you really with bringing your dreams alive?
A: It would really be nice to get this new job, but if I don’t get it, it’s not meant for me. And who am I to have a loving, reliable partner when there are so many relationships around me that fall apart?
B: I am committed to give my best to get this challenging and interesting job and if I don’t, I’ll find an even better one. It’s in my power to create a healthy, loving relationship and I will stay true to myself and love myself first.
These thoughts don’t fall from the sky and if you’re lucky, you stand on the right spot to receive those that support you.
YOU CHOOSE YOUR THOUGHTS YOURSELF!
It may be that your default thoughts used to be self-critical, but you can change that NOW.
You are in charge of your thoughts and nobody can force you to think badly about yourself. Stop blaming your boss, men, women, the world for your own disempowering thoughts.
Take a stand for yourself.
What I don’t mean, is to mechanically repeat random affirmations that you found on the internet.
What I do mean are conscious thoughts that open your eyes to possibility.
I truly believe that you already have the power and freedom to create the life that YOU want.
