Where Do You Put Your Creative Power?

Whatever you create comes from inside you.

You have thoughts and feelings and translate them into your creative work.

You dance with your body, you write your thoughts, you sing with your voice.

It’s hard to negate your contribution to your work when you bring so much to it.

Yet, sometimes we want to blame others or the circumstances for the apparent lack of quality of our work.

That’s a trap that looks convenient, but lures you in with the sticky sweetness of self-pity.

It doesn’t want to see you go and take back your power.

I ask you:

Do you want to create from luck or from power?

Are you willing to take responsibility for your work?

Are you willing to take responsibility for your life?

Yes, I know that not every circumstance is equally supportive.

Yet it is still on you to make something out of it.

This doesn’t mean that everything that happens to you is your fault.

It means that you have influence.

You get to decide what you do with what is here.

You can keep looking outside for reasons why you can’t.

Or you can start looking within for everything you can.

That is where your power is.

And this is the same power that you can use to create something different.

So where do you put your creative power?
