What If This Thought Isn’t True?
We have so many thoughts about ourselves and our lives.
Some of them are useful.
Some of them are not.
And some of them we have believed for so long that we don’t even realise they are just thoughts.
Maybe you believe you are not good enough.
Maybe you believe you have to work hard to deserve something.
Maybe you believe you are too much.
Maybe you believe you can’t change.
Maybe you believe this is just how you are.
But what if this thought isn’t true?
I love this question because it creates a little bit of space.
Instead of immediately believing everything your mind tells you, you can become curious.
Where did this thought come from?
Is it actually true?
What happens when I believe it?
And what might become possible if I didn’t?
You don’t have to replace every uncomfortable thought with a positive one.
You can simply become curious about the stories you tell yourself.
Because a thought is not necessarily a fact.
And you are allowed to question it.
